Here at Himalaya, we prepare orders in good faith. We are a small family run business and put immense time, effort and care into ensuring each order is accurate and made to order with the traditional Indian flavours our patrons have come to know and love. We understand with the economic climate, everything from food and groceries, to the general cost of living has gone up and everyone wants to have their hard earned money go as far as it can. Just as food costs go up for the general public, it does so for businesses as well. Restaurants are not immune from the impacts of inflation. Therefore, when False Reports are made for not receiving order items or receiving the wrong order to obtain a free meal — it makes it that much more difficult for a business such as ours to maintain an online presence. All businesses are able to see which Customer(s) are filing a report and for what corresponding reasons. Note: Although a Customer is requesting a refund from a delivery partner, that chargeback is passed on to the Merchant who prepared that order in good faith. We also understand, errors can and do happen (we deep-dive into the issues with our Frontend team, as soon as we are notified, to verify any discrepancies as orders are packed by them) and for any miss on our end — we take full ownership and responsibility and take the appropriate steps to resolve any issues that may arise. So once again, we kindly ask for your mindfulness — as a small business, we're doing our best to provide for our families while also creating opportunities for our valued employees to do the same.
